The Kodalian Solar System is the solar system orbiting the sun Ko and the Dyson sphere constructed by Kodal. It is divided into zones called "encirclements".
Direct control from Kodal ends roughly past the seventh encirclement. All planets within that range are monitored and regulated heavily. Planets outside the Kodalian Service Area do not receive energy through Kodal but through alternative means. Many of them are part of the Void Alliance, which harvests energy from a black hole instead.
